Martin A. Megl, born April 25, 1965, entered the gates of Heaven on September 14, 2021, after a three
year illness. Beloved son of Raymond and Doris Megl; dearest brother of Mark (Amanda), Michael-d
(Cindy), Matthew (Laura), Maureen-d, Margi Pennington (Jim), and Maxwell (Debie); awesome uncle to
many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; cousin, nephew, and friend to many.

Marty owned the restaurant Parrot’s Sports Bar & Grill in St. Peters MO and was a fantastic chef, a
comedian- in his own mind- and a huge St. Louis Sports fan. He never met a stranger, never left anyone
hungry, and loved to make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris (2015); sister,
Maureen (2011); brother, Michael (2014); all of his grandparents, several aunts and uncles, many cousins
and relatives, and his best friends, Jim Bonzon and Donny Steinbruegge.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3rd, from 2-4pm, with a memorial dedication beginning at
3pm, held at Kutis Funeral Homes, 10151 Gravois, St. Louis MO 63123.
