Odessa Wicks
Odessa Wicks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2021 at age 82.
She was born to Artie and Georgia Reed on September 8, 1939. After graduating high school, Odessa met her husband, KC Wicks, Jr. Together, they had four children — Clevon, Valerie, Ardie and Victoria.
Odessa loved spending time with her family. She was very talented in music, a skilled seamstress and enjoyed cooking. She loved the Lord and would always play and sing hymns at home.

Miss Odessa was a life time friend of my mother Luvenia, I loved the relationship they it would be so funny when they had disagreement But they maintain the utmost respect for each other. My condolences go out to the entire family and prayer. She will be missed. Give my mother a big kiss for me she’s waiting on you. Rest peacefully.❤️❤️❤️
It is a pleasure to say that I met Sister Odessa Wicks years ago. The comments I heard from her family and friends, I found that even today, she is still with us.
