Vincent Edward Tallie
Vincent Edward Tallie, age 57, was born August 3, 1964, and passed away on March 9, 2022.
Vincent was born, raised, and educated in St Louis, MO. He grew up in Zion Lutheran Church and was later baptized at Trinity Mt. Carmel. He had a strong belief in God and wanted the best for everyone he concerned himself with. And he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Always!
Vincent followed his Beloved father’s (Ulish Pratt) footsteps when it came down to providing for his family. He was the Scrap Yard King and would say, “Daddy said you can find a fortune in the streets and a rich man’s junk is a poor man’s treasure.”
Whenever you saw him and said, “What’s up Pooh?” His response was always, “I’m just coming through ain’t making no noise. Smiling like McDonald’s Clown & Lit up like Broadway!”
Vincent was extremely funny, caring, helpful, energetic, very strong and he loved his family. He loved to sing and dance and wanted nothing more than to put a smile on your face.
Vincent is preceded in death by his parents, Selous Lee Tallie, Sr., Eula Mae & Ulish Pratt, two sisters, Jacqueline Tallie and Josephine Green, and one brother, Johnny Jackson.
Vincent leaves behind to miss and cherish his memories, his fiancée, Winifred Townsel, his stepson, James, two grandchildren, Jayda and Kyree, four brothers, Warren, Sammie, Michael and Selous Jr., three sisters, Michelle, Brenda, and Cora, one brother in law, Elmo Green and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Private memorial on March 20, 2022.
