Margaret Bricker
Margaret Jones Bricker passed away at her home on February 5, 2009 after a long illness. She was born in Campbell, Missouri on July 5, 1912, the first daughter of Cynthia Ward Jones and Noah M. Jones, a dentist. Mrs. Bricker was predeceased by her two sisters.
She graduated from Washington University School of Nursing after which she worked at Barnes Hospital as the private scrub nurse to Dr. Ernest M. Bricker. Dr. Bricker, a surgeon, predeceased her in January, 2000.
Mrs. Bricker devoted herself to the care of her family and cherished her roles of wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, David C. Bricker (Carol Orndorff Bricker) of Rochester Hills, Michigan; Robert S. Bricker (Mary Poncel Bricker) of Prescott, Arizona; and Cynthia Bricker Sale of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Bricker, Allyson Sale, Jonathan Bricker, Timothy Bricker, Amanda Bricker, Eryn Sale Bertsch; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews with special appreciate to her niece, Gail Anderson Giles of Cape Girardeau, Missouri for her devotion.
