Jacob Henry Grindel
Jacob Henry Grindel, age 23, of St. Louis, MO died unexpectedly on December 5, 2022. Jacob’s loss was
completely unexpected and left his family and friends shocked and deeply saddened.
He was born on October 11, 1999, to Dennis G. and Catherine DeMoor Grindel in St. Louis, MO.
Jacob attended Bishop DuBourg High School and graduated in 2018.
He worked as a home health aide and caregiver for various companies. He was a compassionate
caregiver.
Jacob is survived by his parents Dennis G. Grindel and Catherine DeMoor Grindel, his sisters Hannah
Rodriguez (Paul) and Meg, his grandmother Florence DeMoor Schuk, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear
friends, Nick and Harry.
Visitation and Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 17 at St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic
Church, 3949 Wilmington, St. Louis, MO 63116. Visitation 8:30-10:00 AM followed by Mass.
Donations can be made to mental health services at Bishop DuBourg High School.

I am so deeply saddened to hear the news of Jacob’s passing. There are no words that can console you at this time and Abby and I are aware of some of the pain you must feel.
