Never heard a bad word said about him. Everybody I knew from Normandy, liked and respected Tom.
A man’s friendships are one of the best measures of his worth(Charles s Darwin).
Tommy Apollo was worth a lot. He was my first friend and a lifelong friend. I will miss him but never forget him. See you later Tommy!
Tom was one of the most genuinely loving, kind and funny people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was my husband’s lifetime best friend (Linn), my daughter’s godfather (Cierra) and as close to a family member as you can get. He was always there for us and with us in every way.
Tom’s presence holds a permanent place in our hearts and we will miss him every day, but will hold on tightly to our countless happy memories. I’m so thankful to have had this amazing soul in our lives.
I send my deepest heartfelt sympathy to all of his family and friends as you mourn his passing. The blessing is that he is finally out of pain.
Rest in eternal peace dear, dear friend….
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Tom so well from Harrison Elementary school! Your loss is the same timing of my sister Vicky Steiner Stover (deceased 2/15/23) also a Normandy graduate.
I will miss the calls l would get on my birthday St Pats day for 35 plus years. One In a million .
Tears in my eyes.

I (We) have lost a long time good friend. I have known Tommy since the first day kindergarten. I lived with Tommy’s in 3 different home/apartments, including living with him at his Mom’s and Dad’s. I have never met a person who could remember all the little things and the stories he would tell. We had a lot of laughs together. I will miss that! It’s hard for me to let him go, I will miss him dearly.
Knowing Tom and the Apollo family was a blessing growing up. Tommy was so special, always kind and giving advice. I’ll cherish the memories we had and it will forever put a smile on my face. Tommy you will be missed and forever loved.
I met him on his many visits to Kent Dygard in hospice. He was genuinely a generous person with his time, care, love and humor. He was perhaps the only other person that could spin a story like Kent. I bet they are up there recanting some humorous story to God and the angels
I’ve loved Tommy his entire life and I will miss him as long as I live! He was so sweet, kind and precious! We will be praying for all the family and friends as they mourn his passing! I love you so much, Tommy!, Aunt Vel
I miss you little brother!
