Bruce A. Campbell

A Life Well Lived

We mourn the loss of Bruce A. Campbell, who passed away on August 25, 2024, in St Louis,
Missouri. He was born on November 25, 1937, to parents Edwin N. Campbell and Clara
(Wulfmeyer) Campbell. He has resided in Labadie, Missouri for many years.

Bruce was a loving husband to Jo Ann (Nichols) Campbell and a devoted father to his three
children – Bruce Edwin Campbell (spouse Stacie), George David Morrison (spouse Sarah), and
Richard Keith Morrison. He was also a cherished grandparent to George Anthony Morrison.

Bruce served his country in the Army in his youth. After his military service, he dedicated his
life to operating the family’s traveling carnival, providing amusement and memories to kids at
various Missouri county fairs and church picnics. When Bruce retired from the carnival, he put
his passion for woodworking to good use. He was a member of the Silver Dollar Craft Guild for
many years and operated his own store, Creations in Wood, delighting young and young-at-heart
alike with his designs.

Also, Bruce enjoyed driving a school bus for local children for years. In his free time, he enjoyed
hobbies, such as carving wooden decoys and LEGO.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May Bruce Campbell rest in peace.
