Something we talked about years ago was don’t tell the other goodbye but meet you later with a smile. And I am so thankful I had time to spend not having words left unsaid to each other and trust me 30 years and 3 kids together we had many words needing to be said.our children gave their father exactly what he wanted to pass with his children and grandkids, and people he loved around him.i know he loved them all and was proud of being Dad .missing you so much already See ya later hon with a big smile

    Dad,
I miss you so much it’s crazy. I know raising me wasn’t the easiest but I always looked up to you and admired you! You were the best pawpaw my kids could ever ask for and they will remember you forever !
Thank you for being my dad and no matter how difficult this last year and a half has been I’m so glad I was there for you through it all! I will forever miss you I’m still coping with the fact I have to live life without you but your memories will live on through your legacy ! I love you so much and will see you again one day ❤️

Dad idk what to say other than thank you. You taught me everything in Life that was important and even though me and you butted heads from time to time you still were always there no matter what. You will be loved, respected and remembered as long as I’m still walking. See you on the other side, I love you dad

So sorry for your loss. Paul was a great neighbor on Spikewood Ct. He will be missed. I loved his positivity, his posts about his loving family and beautiful scenes.

It’s difficult when the world loses a kind soul, someone that goes out of their way to lift you up when you need it & make you laugh even when you don’t. I’ll miss you my friend.

Paul was a great friend since we met at Ritenour High school in about id guess 84 or so before he transfered but always kept in touch with, like most people some gaps in there. Paul was always there to talk to and always very logical and very successful. From the jobs even at imos bridgton in the late 80 s he quickly became assistant the head manager of the store . He would sometimes be a few late opening on his days because Paul loved fun and the nights some late n we had he had many friends n many nights come over we’d play reg games, drinking games and music etc revelry everyone generally had fun mean people didn’t fit our and his vibe he set for his place. We also went to Kansas City for guns n roses n many other places we went I can’t even remember em all. He advanced I noticed in different jobs as we all usually nowadays do in life, ending at Fed X as I’m sure a reliable top driver because I know how he was. He loved that river and then the scuba diving big time I was happy he found his dream fun n did it prob only 10% of people really do find it and do it , HE DID. He always cared about his kids and told me many times of things if he had been upset about a kid doing whatever and all of us parents do. Il tell ya Paul cares deeply, CARES, not cared for it I believe in Jesus Christ he’s there, n Paul cared he was a great person. I must say, went with Paul first to Dave n Pam’s river spot in St Charles n then many times there then I got my river place I had for about 20 years. A few floods were so deep i had to move, long story short ( yea right haha) 1 flood I moved to Jason’s in Deerfield, at a party met his neighbor up rd Christina, n after a year or 2 ended up living with her in another flood, n my beautiful daughter was born in 2013, Miaa June Marino, strang how life twist everywhere and basically without Paul i wouldn’t have Miaa believe it so i have forever gratitude and as a friend for Paul . We’re getting older, in 50s now, n it sucks but happens to us all eventually. Paul’s one of those friends, life long impressions, and change for the better in my n many others life. Untill we meet again Paul, my highschool friend all these decades, ( not years, DECADES)our 5 th one now since the 80s, enjoy heaven n thanks for being my friend. Bob Marino ( Robert J) Ps enjoy scuba diving in heaven n the kids come out all right you made it work bro.

I’ve known Paul since kindergarten and we continued to be friends all these years. We hadn’t seen each other in many years but stayed in contact through Facebook. I will miss his sweet smile and kind words. My condolences to the family. Fly high my sweet friend till we meet again!
