Michael William Kimberlin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael William Kimberlin. Born April 9, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Sara (Courtney) Kimberlin and William Kimberlin. Dearest brother to Mark (Cathleen) Kimberlin, Keith (Julie) Kimberlin and Kelley Kimberlin. Loving uncle to Olivia, Natalie and Brady Kimberlin. Mike was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
We will miss his kind heart, quick wit and gentle spirit.
Mike’s presence will be deeply missed by all that knew him. There will be no service or visitation. We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating Mike’s life on March 16th, 2025 from 11:00a.m. -3:00p.m. at Helen Fitzgerald’s private banquet room in Sunset Hills, Missouri.
RIP Mike. I sure will miss having you as a neighbor.
The Kimberlin kids! Loved them all! Mike would stay up late with me whenever I babysat for him back in the day! He was my late night buddy. When we heard his mom and dad pull up in the car, he went to bed and pretended to sleep! He was so much fun…they all were! Miss those fun days! RIP Mike…we will miss you and love you!
I met Mike freshman year at Affton.
1978. First day of school in art class. We became friends quickly and ended up playing hundreds of baseball games together. And doing basically everything together for decades. We remained very close friends until his death. Mike was the absolute best friend I could ever have had. I feel fortunate to have his unwavering friendship for almost 50 years. Just a solid friend. Trustworthy beyond belief, loyal, never judgmental, dependable, and as funny of a guy as you’ll meet. A quick, dry wit was Mike’s specialty. We shared so many hilarious times together the amount of them is staggering.
I’ll miss Mike and every single thing about him. And I’ll miss him terribly every single day as long as I walk the earth.
So long my brother and best friend. Life just won’t be the same without you.
