Shirley Porter, formerly of Godfrey, died Monday August 8, 2011 at the age 82.  She was a volunteer, medical receptionist and homemaker.  Born in Minneapolis, MN, she lived in Godfrey over 40 years.  She is survived by a son, Paul Porter, of St. Louis, MO.  The family requests any donations in memory of Shirley be made to the Alzhiemers’s Association.
