Mark Christman

christman5Mark Christman, age 57, passed away quietly on June 12, 2014, at the Life Care Center of Bridgeton where he had been a resident for many years. His brother, Richard was with him during this time. Mark had been through many struggles in his life that he fought bravely and the love he always had for his family remained constant in his life. He will be greatly missed but we know he is no longer in pain and is resting in peace.

Mark was born in Memphis TN., spent a short time in Hawaii, but grew up and remained in the St. Louis area where he was member of the Laborer’s Union in St Louis.christman1

He was an avid fan of the St Louis Cardinals baseball team and also the Rams football team. He loved his children very much and always wanted the best for them.

He is survived by his beloved son, Bradley & wife Chelsea and his two cherished daughters, Kelley & Nicole. He was a loving brother to Richard & wife Ann Christman and his sister Sherry & husband Gary Bequette. Mark is also survived by nephews, cousins and an aunt.

He was preceded in death by his mother June Voegelie.

Mark’s family wants to give heartfelt thanks all the staff at the Life Care Center of Bridgeton for the tender care that they gave to Mark in the years that he was a resident.

    Was sorry to hear of Marks passing. Hadn’t seen him in many years but he was a nice guy. RIP Mark.

    To Marks family, I share your sorrow. I met him way back when he lived in Lilac Apt. behind our house before moving up to Diamond Dr.. He was a kind and gentle soul, one of the good guys. Always a smile and a kind word. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. RIP my friend.

    I met Mark in Junior high. I was only a 7th grader and he was in 9th grade when we met, he was always been a real nice guy to me..
    Sorry for the loss of Mark, he will be remembered by many.
