Margaret Poehler, of St. Charles, MO, passed into the arms of God on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. She was 88 years old.

Margaret was born on April 12, 1929 in Garfield, New Jersey where she spent most of her life.

She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Poehler; beloved mother of Linda Poehler and Joann Aftayev, and mother-in-law of Peter G. Aftayev; dear sister of Joseph Pettigano, the late Vincent Pettigano and Terri Bennett; and beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She also will be missed by her many friends who loved and cherished her.

Margaret loved spending time with her family and friends and was grateful for all the love and friendship that they gave to her.

Services are being planned for a later date at the Church of St. Cletus, 2705 Zumbehl Rd., St. Charles MO, 63301. Per her wishes, Margaret’s ashes will be buried in her family plot at St. Michael Cemetery in Garfield, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions should be sent to St. Jude.
