I served with Jim in Vietnam 68-69 and have been looking for him for years. Sorry to say, I was only able to locate him via his obituary. He was a good friend and a brave soldier. Condolences to his family. See you at the Fiddler’s Green, Jimmy, where all we cavalrymen eventually go to meet.

So sorry to hear the sad news. I knew Jim in Chu Lai, Vietnam. We were both Loach door gunners in our Scout Platoon. I have so many memories and recall so many funny incidents. He was truly a good guy. I will share the news on our dtroop.com website so others can be informed of his passing.
    He will be missed.
