Bill will always be remembered. He was a very caring person. A very good friend of Don’s who always came to see him and would call often just to check on him. They were true Teamster brothers. Don would always think of Bill when we were at gun shows telling me how Bill collected knives. Time takes it’s toll. This time in life is very difficult. Learning to live without friends and family is really tough. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. My heart aches. Don and Evelyn Simmons Enjoyed so much the pictures……

I fondly remember Bill coming into the union hall, visiting, telling his stories.
    RIP Bill

    Man, where do I start.
I met Bill in 1987 when I started working at Holland. He, Don Simmons, and my self were the late shift, clean up crew. All 3 of us got along great, worked well together and we busted our butts.
Bill liked to go to Auctions and Estate sales. He would tell me about the good ones and I would meet him there. He would talk to the people having the sale and get them to give us everything they did not sell just to get rid of it. I think I still have some of that junk.
One thing I liked about Bill if he told you something you could bank on it. He told it like it was. We had some great times.
RIP my friend…my condolences to the family.

I knew Bill for many years and worked with him at Holland before I retired. No matter how hot, cold or dirty the job was, if you were working with Bill you’d end up laughing. He was one of the good guys and a heck of a worker.
