Fortified with the Sacrament of the Holy Mother Church on February 29, 2008;
beloved husband of Helen (nee Rebmann); dear father of Mary (Tim) Burson and John (Betsy) Zinser; dear grand father of Eric (Meredith) Rakey, Claire and Ben Zinser; dear great-grandfather of Madeline Rakey, dear uncle and great friend to many.
His body was gifted to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Tom and Helen were both graduates of Cleveland High School and were sweethearts for 68 years, 63 of which were in blissful marriage. He was a veteran of World War II, honorably discharged in 1945. Retired from Barnes Hospital in 1986 after 25 years as their Credit Manager. He loved life, traveling the world, gardening and wood working. A devout Catholic, Tom loved to sing and was a Eucharistic Minister.
His smile and good sense of humor will surely be missed by all that knew him.
