Dianna Rosene Sanders Travis

12/25/1947 – 8/5/2014

Dianna passed away 8/5/2014. She battled cancer & fought a very hard & brave fight.

Dianna was a loving mother to daughter, Michelle Belleville (Tom) from Imperial, MO, son, Corey Gutgsell (Kristie) from Henderson, TN, an admired grandmother, better known as “Ma Ma” to Hannah & Jacob Belleville, Brett, Bethany, Brooke, & Joshua Gutgsell.

She was the youngest sister of Thelma (Johnny) Lowen of Fresno, CA., the late Melvin Sanders Sr. (Gloria) of Cincinnati, OH, and Cecil, (late Judy) Sanders of St. Louis MO.

She was a caring daughter to her mother & late step father Opal & Crystal Burns & late father Rowland Sanders.

Dianna was preceded in death by her husband Jim Travis.

Dianna graduated in 1965 from McKinley High School in South St. Louis.

Dianna continued her education after raising her two children. She received her masters in social work, and had her own business working with families in need.
