Barb and I met through a mutual friend in 1958. We had fun driving around in Barb’s 1956 Chevrolet. I believe Barb really enjoyed those times.

    May she rest in peace.

(John may recognize that I was Ray and Etta’s neighbor on Rivermont)

Dear Judy, Mary,Bill ans John and to all others who knew and loved Barb.
I have so many happy memories of growing up as next door neighbors and friends. Barb and I spent so much time together. We were only 5 days apart in age but I was the oldest!
I feel bad that we have not been in contact for several years. I did not know that Barb was ill. I am so sorry for your loss.
My husband passed away in March and the only consolation is that he is not suffering anymore and he is with God. I wish the same for Barb.
I was planning on attending the memorial today but the weather has made me change my mind. I will be there in spirit and am thankful for having Barb in my life.
    Please accept my sympathy.

Like Pat and Becky’s entries before mine, I too met Barb in the late 50’s through Barb DeNike Fitzgerald. Later we lived near one another in Florissant. Perhaps her son’s may remember a chance encounter in the late 70’s when we were entering Busch Gardens in Florida just as your family was leaving. We sat and talked for awhile catching up on our lives. We each had two sons.

We would have come to the memorial but we are caring for two of our grandsons (ages 3 & 5)today who do not get picked up until 6:00 PM.

Sympathies to all who will miss Barb and especially her grandsons who have yet to really know her through each of you.

    Don & Toni Copeland

With sympathy to Barb’s family and friends from a friend who shared her same birthday. I especially remember a vacation to Florida many years ago with the “two Barbs and two Joans”. We had so much fun. It’s nice to have these memories of Barb.

We are so sorry for the loss of Barbara. We are also Aidans grandparents and got to know Barb in the family get- to-gethers. She was always so gentle and kind, and very easy to just sit and chat with. A beautiful lady and we will never forget her lovely spirit and kindness to all.
An old verse comes to mind – Grieve not for me when I am gone, but let my memory carry on, for if you forget me, only then will I have surely died. Barbara, from all your loved ones and friends, your memory will always live on in our hearts and minds.
