Corine Berry
Corine Berry fell asleep in death on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the age of 91. She is survived by 3 daughters, Gloria Pringle of Detroit, Michigan, Jamesetta Hamilton and Cheryl Dimmock, both of St. Louis, Missouri, a sister, Rose Harris, and a sister-in-law, Doris Christmas, both of Dallas, Texas.
Corine was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, August 10, 1919, to Alberta and John James. Corine was the 3rd of 7 children. Preceding her in death were 3 brothers, 2 sisters, her husband Thomas A. Berry, and 1 granddaughter, Robyn Corine Mitchell.
Leaving those to enjoy her memories is a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, 4 generations!! There also is a hose of nieces, nephews, and cousins scattered throughout the states who also loved her dearly.
Corine was a reserved person. She took the step of dedication of Jehovah, followed by water baptism on February 10th, 1979 in St. Louis, MO. She preached along with the Midtown congregation for many years with friends who loved her dearly. One of her many highlights in her service to Jehovah was a visit to Bethel, the World Headquarters of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located in Brooklyn, New York. A visit she always rememberd!
Corine was not a complainer, always doing what she could for those she loved. We will miss her, but for a short while. We look forward to her receiving the benefits of the ransom sacrifice that Jehova has provided by means of his beloved son, Christ Jesus, one benefit being the resurrection. (Daniel 12:2)
This was beautifully done. Very, very nice!
