Dear grandfather, brother, fishing buddy, Rams fan, model airplane flyer, barbershop quarter singer, antique radio aficionado, gardener, and friend. Dean’s remains were donated to Washington University School of Medicine.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 8, at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, 14820 Conway Road, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice care or the ASPCA.
Dean and I met in 1975, and created and presented programs in many offices and many ststes. I will miss his level of intelect, his honesty, but most of all his wit and friendship. He was a true friend.
Dear Ruth and Family,
We were sorry to hear about Dean’s passing. We spent many years together at Psychological Associates and after retirement we’d run into him at the Rehab Center on Old Ballas. Norman joins me in sending our condolences. Sincerely, Charlene and Norman Meltzer
Our heartfelt condolences to all the family.Ruth, remember all the good times…duplicate bridge…tailgating at the Rams’ games…trips to the lakehouse…memories on Sanibel! Dean will always be a special memory in our hearts.

Ruth: So sad to hear about Dean’s passing. Both Ann and I have you and your family in our prayers. Dean was a great guy, and though he played it down, was one of the smartest people I’ve ever met. I learned a lot from him. He totally put himself into all that he did, and some of his instructional design work is still used in several of our workshops here at PA. A great colleague and friend, I’ll miss him.
I’ll be sure to toast him at our annual White River fishing trip.
Dearest Ruth,
I practically grew-up around Dean when he worked for Psychological Associates. I have so many fond memories of Dean, fron the serious hard worker, who would close his door at the office, and not re-appear until the job was done, to some of the most funny things, like acting in a video spoof of our company.
He will be in my thought.
Warmest regards,
Bob Buzzotta
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of quite a remarkable man. I had the privilege of working with Dean for 7 1/2 years and learned a lot from him. Not only did I learn about designing and executing programs, but I also learned a lot about persistence, creativity, humor, wit, hard work, dedication to the job, using your smarts, seeking balance in life — a lot of lessons I must still ponder. I’ll miss him.
