Dorothy Borcherinding
born Oct. 20th, 1925 in St. Louis MO. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Borcherding; survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Richard W. and Beatrice J. Tarara of Elkhardt, Indiana.
Mrs. Borcherding was a homemaker and a consummate volunteer. Through the 1950’s she was heavily involved in the activities of the Women’s Sodality at the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish. Then she became the head dog trainer for the Mound City Obedience Club. From that she moved to being the editor of a national bulletin for the Samoyed Club of America where she received many national awards for the quality of her publications. In 1999 this national club awarded her one of their top honors in recognition of her many years of volunteer work. In recent years, Peggy has volunteered for St. Louis University Hospital, especially their Hospitality House.
