Jack Hobson passed away peacefully at home on April 1st, 2011. Born April 6th, 1952 in Key West, Florida. Loving husband of Sharon Hadden. He is preceeded in death by his father Billy W. Hobson. He is also survived by his mother Nellie (nee Key) Hobson, his sisters Andrea (David) Shoff and Mary Ann Genzler; his sons of Starkville, Mississippi, Buster (Ann) Hobson, Wayne (Pam) Hobson, Andrew Hobson, and Russell (Britney) Hobson; his five grandchildren and one step-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Jack was a retired pipefitter. He was an avid student of history. He was also deeply religious and had read the Bible three times.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 at 12:30 PM following the regular 11:00 AM church service at Salem at New Town Lutheran Church (salemnt.org) at 3420 Civic Court in St Charles, MO 63301. Friends and family will be gathering for a repast following the Memorial Service.
