Passed on December 29, 2009, at the age of fifty-nine.  Born to the late James L. McWilliams, Jr. and Claydine (Sloas) McWilliams on February 4, 1950.  Beloved husband of Elizabeth Holly (Hale) McWilliams and beloved father of Evelynn Alexis McWilliams and Alex Arthur McWilliams.  Dear Son of Claydine Sloas.  Dear brother of Mary Jane (Leonard) Templemire, Jimmy Patricia (Ken) Mohler, Terry Lee (Carol) Frazier, Sharon Lynn (Gary) Brandel, and Shelly Dean LaRue.  Dear Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend.  Jim was a lifetime writer, actor, teacher, and poet with published materials.  He was a wonderful giving person who will be greatly missed by friends and family.  Memorial Services will be held at Dover Place Christian Church, 701 Dover Place, Saint Louis, MO 63111, on Saturday February 6, 2009, at noon.  The family requests in lieu of flowers to make donations to the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) local Saint Louis chapter at 1750 South Brentwood Boulevard, Suite 511, Saint Louis, MO 63144 or on-line at www.nami.org, or make donations to  Annie’s Hope-The Bereavement Center for Kids, 1333 West Lockwood, Suite 104, Saint Louis, MO 63122.
