Gavin and Jake Ashley, and Sarah Eubanks, who were the lights of her life. Dearest daughter of Carrie (Kueneke) Hasser and the late George V. Hasser, Sr. Beloved sister of Sandra (Harry) Bennett, Mary (Michael) Gebauer, George V.(Glenda Bryant) Hasser, Jr., Michael (Jeanne) Hasser, Madelynn (Alan) Hopson, and Betty (Michael) Hensley. Dear aunt of Matthew, Mark and Michael Bennett; Beth Price, Pamela and Timothy Gebauer; Tracey Norton, Tricia Koetting, Christopher Hasser, Tina Harris and Lynn Hasser; Rebecca and Jeffrey Hasser; Steven Hopson; Jonathan and Erin Hensley. Karen also leaves behind many family members and very special friends who will deeply miss her.

Karen was a sweet and caring person who very much loved her children and her
grandchildren, her large family and her many friends. Generous with her time, she was always there for anyone who needed help or comfort or just a kind word. She was a wonderful gourmet cook who also loved to read and discuss current events, plan and grow gorgeous gardens, hunt for antiques, and share the joy of her many talents with others. Karen was a 1959 graduate of Cleveland High School. Starting as a secretary, she developed a successful career as an independent steel broker.
