died peacefully on October 12 at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of Paul Modica; dear Mother of Jeanette (Richard) Prusinowski, Joe Modica and Jim Modica; Grandmother of Nicole and Richard; Great Grandmother of Ashtyn; Sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend. She is preceded in death by her siblings Melvin Ottensmeyer, Walter Ottensmeyer and Azalea Gray.
LaVerne enjoyed spending time with family, dancing, knitting, crocheting, quilting and traveling.

From what I gather from all the stories you told me about your mom she was a wonderful person who lived a very full life. Judging from the person you turned out to be, a guy couldn’t ask for a better mother, you have my deepest condolences.
