Larry Edger
Larry Dean Edger, Sr. born November 8, 1951 and called to glory August 2, 2010. Beloved Grandson of Tessie Lentz; Son of Dolores Skipper (nee Pillow) and Morland Edger; Husband to Joselyn Edger (nee Burr); Father of Rita, Samantha, Tabitha, Larry II, Jennifer, Christy, Victoria; Father in law of Bryan, Xavier and Christian; Grandfather of Thomas, Alexander, Angel, Ana, Jenny, Ayrton, Caleb.
He was also a Brother of Tina, Richard, William, Robert, Judy, Timothy, James and Sherry.
He was a Brother-in-law, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and a Friend to many.
Larry was a hard working, God loving man. Who, despite many trials and tribulations, strived to testify God’s Word and His work in his life. He was a loving and giving man who gave of himself when he had nothing to give. His sense of humor endured even during painful times. He was a loyal dog owner and avid Gardner. Our love for him was as great as his for us and we miss him dearly. But memories of our time together, the remembrance of his great sense of humor and his great laughter and all the things that he taught us about life lives on in each of us FOREVER. He is loved and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to Larry Rice Ministries or other charitable foundations.
REST IN PEACE DEAR FATHER, SON and BROTHER.
You will ALWAYS be remembered brother. I LOVE YOU!
I will miss you Dad I will aways think of you
I offer my deepest sympathy and prayers for Jocelyn, for Larry’s children, and for the entire Edger family.
There are no words that can take away all our pain and sorrow at times like this, but I hope you know that there is HOPE and STRENGTH in Jesus Christ. He is the resurrection and the life, and from today on, Larry lives in the presence of the very source of LIFE. If we could see Larry, he would be as radiant as the sun in the summer sky. He is now free from illness and pain, and he is forevermore a son of God and living in the city of our King.
We certainly are full of sorrow because we miss Larry, but we can be glad that he’s not gone forever. Through Jesus, we can see him again and partake in the same inheritance of wealth and immortality which Larry now has received a part of. My prayer is that everyone seeks God and makes Him their Lord, so that someday we will ALL live together in Heaven, forever and ever. Amen.
God bless you all today, and may the supernatural and perfect peace of God fill your heart.
I didn’t know you all that well, Larry, but I love you as I do all my wonderful cousins, and I look forward to seeing you again some day.

You will be in my heart and soul always.
Larry was more like a brother than a cousin. We had alot of good times and made some great memories. Larry made the best of every situation and didn’t complain. We will miss you Larry.

You will always be my daddy who was sure to get that kiss and hug before I left and tell me to kiss myself in the mirror before we hung up on the phone, along with I love you. And always remember, it’s E-D-G-E-R, sharp like the edge of a knife!
dad i love u and u will be greatly missed but u will always be in my heart.i know u have gone on to b with he Lord.
See dad, I goofed on my married name just to make a point about Edger.
I remember him as a strong-willed man and loved his kids to the very end. He made a mean pot of chili..lol..thats a memomy that will stay with me..very hot. When I dated Samantha in high school, he was very welcoming and giving. An honest man who pulled no punches..and thats why I respected him. Watch over the family Mr. Edger, they will need a little support in these trying times. God Bless and we’ll see you when we get there !!
Larry will be remembered as a great man. He is in a much better place. Pain free. Dancing in the streets with Grandpa Jones and Grandma Grace. I will always remember your silly grin and dimples.
Larry you will be missed. May God bless all of us as we grieve our loss. May God encircle us with his peace that we feel his love and care for each of us. As Larry touched our lives, may we share the love of God so others can know that love too. Larry, ’Aunt’ Cindy and Steve will miss you.
Larry you were more like my dad than a brother, I will miss you more than anything. I love you and miss you.
