June, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Laurie’s soul is still a part of all of us who knew and loved her.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be…So He put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Though we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden-heart stopped beating. Hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us-He only takes the best.

I will always feel the pain of her loss, but knowing she lived a very full life with all of us and shared so many memories all these years, helps me to cope with her not being here in presence but always here in spirit.

Laurie: My heart is forever broken, and my life is meaningless, without you by my side. It’s been over 3 months since you had to leave me and I am suffocating in grief. Hopefully my many happy memories will see me through until we can be together again.

Dear June, I can’t imagine having to go through such a terrible loss. Laurie was truly a treasure! I knew her from age 14 as a freshman at MRH High School. She was a wonderful influence on my life. She will truly be missed!
