KURTZ, LISA (nee Thost) asleep in Jesus on December 19, 2009 at the age of 48.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith (Lanius) Thost, her grandparents, Charles Howard Lanius and Florence Winslow Bunch and half-brother, Mark Thost.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard J. Kurtz, half-brother, Patrick Thost and her mother-in-law, Pauline E. Kurtz.  Lisa leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends who will miss her greatly.

She enjoyed being in her mom’s Girl Scout troop.  She loved fishing and an occasional baseball game with her husband.  Lisa loved her dogs, Homer, Maggie, and Ringo.  They were her babies.

A memorial service was held on December 21, 2009 at the SBAC Athletic Club. Memorial donations may be given to the Humane Society of St. Louis.
