Anna Lee Busch
On Sunday, June 14, 2015 Anna Lee Busch of St. Louis, Missouri passed away peacefully after 84 years of life full of love and commitment to her family, friends, church and community.

During Anna’s lifetime, she effectively worked as a nurse’s aide, a stay-at-home mom, Executive Secretary of the Skinker-DeBaliviere Community Council, and a Court Clerk for the Juvenile Court System. She also put her heart into serving the Skinker –DeBaliviere and the 28th Ward community extensively. She proved to be highly effective while serving others and being very instrumental in changing the neighborhood. Consequently, she obtained several recognitions for it. She received 3 awards from the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department for citizen involvement; she received the 1981 Outstanding Citizenship Award for her outstanding work in the Masonic Family from the Harmony Grand Chapter – Order of Eastern Stars; in 1977 she was nominated for the St. Louis Globe-Democrat Woman of Achievement Award as well as the St. Louis Sentinel Black Woman of the Year Award.
Anna leaves to morn her passing, a sister – Louis Harris; a son – Horace R. Busch, II; daughters – Shirley, Vivian, Pamela, Debra, and Karen; grandchildren – Rich, Tina, Cerissa, Kelli, Korry, and Ashley; great grandchildren – Teylor, Brittney, Kayla, T’Shaun, Makenzie, Myckie and Tristan; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
It was a privilege to know Anna and to have her as a neighbor. What a difference she made. She did so much and managed to raise a family of fine children.
She is an example to all who choose to live in our community.
Love and prayers from our family to yours. Glori L’Ecuyer
I had the pleasure of caring for Mrs. Busch for a while. We had some fun times together. She will be missed.
