Following a lengthy battle with depression, Autumn Nichole Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024 at the age of 27. Autumn was born in Riverside, California on October 8th, 1997
She will be lovingly remembered by her family including Shienna Lofquist, her sister, along with Rick, Emma, Linkoln, her mother Valerie Coleman, step-father Tim, brother Cole, brother Camden, and sister Jessica. She will also be missed by her friends and those at Balkan Treat Box.
Autumn was passionate about her friends and family, the art of cooking and drawing, helping people through hard times and caring for plants. She had an enormous heart for everyone and a wonderful sense of humor. Autumn was honest, passionate, sassy, and so kind.
Autumn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL) prior to most recently working at Balkan Treat Box. She fought everyday to learn more about the brain and ways to navigate her illness. Autumn desired to be around those who loved her including but not limited to, her family and friends.
Autumn’s legacy of kindness, creativity, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew her. In her memory, the family kindly requests donations to a suicide awareness foundation, so that others facing similar struggles can find support and hope. Her love for life, despite its challenges, reminds us to cherish those we hold dear and to extend compassion to ourselves and others. The suicide awareness foundation will be determined at a later date, more information to come by family member, Shienna Lofquist.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the restaurants and staff around St. Louis during her Celebration of Life, which was held on November 11, 2024 at Telva; Autumn’s favorite place. We also thank all the family members and friends who sent flowers during this difficult time; they brought so much color and peace to her event.
