Betty Jean Risk-Hindes passed away the morning of July 15th, 2012. Beloved wife of Jerry Hindes Sr., daughter of Lyle Risk and Mable Hayes, step-daughter of Lucille Risk and Mable Hayes, dear mother of Anna, Jerry Jr., Ted, and John. Beloved sister of Susan Leja, Don Risk, and Geary Hayes. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Heather, David, and Matthew Hindes. Beloved aunt, friend, Red Cross and D.A.R. member. I am sosorry to learn about Betty’s passing she was a character that I had the honor of her friendship over the past few years, My heart goes out to the family, I know she is a great loss to everyone of you, Barbara Bruegger
Her message of signing up to serve with the ARC and her experiences are how I shall remember Betty, as she spoke at the Annual meeting of ARCOA in St. Louis in May. My condolences to her family and husband who cared for her during her last moments. She had many remarkable friends, which included the speaker and Honor Guard at our meeting.
Betty enriched the lives of all she touched with her love, her sense of mischief and great stories. I am blessed by her friendship and the honor of knowing Jerry and son, John. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Blessings to the entire family as you celebrate her life and grieve her loss.
