Billie Evadney Mayfield was born June 14, 1951 to Rosemary Moore and Luther Dickens. She was one of three siblings, Scott Wallace, and one sibling Felice “June” Robinson who preceded her in death.

Mom was educated in St. Louis Public Schools and Graduated from Beaumont High School.

Mom always had a thing for helping others and took that same spirit to her employment working mostly in the Social Work field, she worked for the City of Berkeley Parks and Recreation with the Youth Program. Mom also worked for the Salvation Army at one of their Emergency Women Shelters.

Mom met Mr. Michael Mayfield in 1967. They married in Nov. 1969 and were together for 26 years. They had three sons; Kenneth, Terence, and one son Landen, who preceded her in death.

On May 4, 2018 Billie gained her wings

Mom leaves behind 12 Grandchildren; Lil Kenneth, Kennedy, Daeven, Kori, Teryce, Ta’neah, Landen, Jordan, Kabira, Riley, Cameron, and Allante’. Mom also has 7 Great Grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will be missing her.
