Bridget Rosener (née Collins) peacefully went to sleep in death on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in her home in St. Louis, MO. She was the beloved daughter of the late Earl Collins and June Collins (née Byrne), beloved sister of the late Sherry Eckert (née Collins) and is survived by her brothers, Brandon Collins (Maribel) and Patrick Collins (Tammy). Bridget was the wife of the late John Rosener. She was also an aunt to Angel Dybczak (Adam), Christina Collins, Daniel Collins (Tiffany), and James Collins. She was great-aunt to two great nephews, Izaak Dybczak and Eli Dybczak. Her marriage to her late husband, John Rosener, also brought Bridget a lot of extended family that she greatly cherished. To name a few of these relatives, Bridget is survived by her stepson, John Rosener III and John’s siblings, JoAnn (Steve) Lumpkins, Karen Benton, Carla Barton, Tim Gomall, Betty Rosener, Joe Rosener, Jammie (Cindy) Rosener, Jason Rosener, and Jeff (Erica) Blum. Her nieces and nephews by marriage include the late Dennis Lumpkins, Eddie Benton, Robbie Benton, Christopher Benton, Cindy Benton, Hunter Blum. Bridget also had many other family members that she loved and will miss her.
Bridget loved animals, Coca-Cola, tie dye, and the color purple. She loved to cook and watch cooking shows. Family was also very important to Bridget. In addition to loving them dearly, she spent much of her time caring for her grandmother Verna and her mother June, until they both passed away in death. She also always talked about how lucky she was to have found her late husband, John Rosener, who assisted in helping her care for her mother and brought her a whole new set of family members. From the time she was 15 and her first niece was born, she was a dedicated aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. She often said that she didn’t know that she could love someone so much until the first time she held Angel in her arms. Bridget spent many long days and nights caring for her nieces and nephews as though they were her own.
She grew up in a loving home where her parents taught her about Jehovah God. She was baptized on April 24, 1993 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. While she was not as mobile in her later years, she took every opportunity that arose for her to be able to share her Bible knowledge with others, including her hope that she would see her dead loved ones again here on a paradise earth. She looked forward to seeing her father, her mother, her older sister, and her late husband, John Rosener in paradise. Now we eagerly wait for the day that we can see her again!
