Bruce Arthur Dougan
Bruce Arthur Dougan of St. Charles, MO, passed away on January 10, 2025, at age 82. He was born on July 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Berkeley High School.
On September 25th, 1959, Bruce proudly and bravely joined the United States Navy, and served the next four years before being honorably discharged.
Bruce married Patricia Marcum on April 19th, 1986, and were married for 38 years.
As a family man, he was the foundation for his family. He led by example with love, lightheartedness, selflessness, and kindness. He believed that family came before anything and strived for harmony. Bruce had a passion for cooking which created memories and traditions his children carry on.
Bruce owned his own restaurant Space Craft Lounge, went on to work and retire as an electrician, then worked and retired with Orchard Farm School District, transportation department, as a bus driver.
Bruce is survived by his wife Patricia Dougan and his three children Bruce Dougan Jr. (Han), Jessica Nelson (Chad), and Sara Capello (Keane); his three stepchildren, Dwayne Million, Tammy Million and Vicky Million; sibling Cheryl Nobel, thirteen grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Ulysses and Reba Dougan; siblings Judy Zgiet, Helen Clasby, Gloria Uetrecht, Ruth Sprouce, Joyce Gettinger, Fred Dougan and Grant Dougan.
