The transition of my close friend has left a deep hurt. Carmen’s sons, Mom, and siblings are in my prayers of comfort, guidance, and strength through the Holy Spirit. I will always remember Carmen’s voice, and laugh. Her commitment to our Lord & Savior speaks of her faith; therefore, I know I will see her again…

One of the saddest moments is when you hear of the loss of a friend. Carmen was the sunshine on many a gloomy days at the IRS office in STL. I could always count on her to make me smile or laugh with her mere presence. And I credit her with teaching me so many things, even if “reluctantly” lol. I shall NEVER FORGET CARMEN. May her soul rest in peace. I firmly believe God accepted her with open arms for all the good she did while she was on this earth.

Words fail me right now to express my sincerest condolences for the loss of such an amazing woman! I knew Carmen briefly when I taught at PCS, where her son Michael attended. He was close friends with my kids and Carmen always brought him out to celebrate birthdays and other get togethers with my family. She was an dedicated mother who was always present and supportive. My family left Houston in 2015 and we lost touch. I rarely use Social Media, but over the years I searched for her, but I couldn’t find her. There are some people who come into your life and leave a mark, and she was one of those people. I was clearing out my phone contacts and I came across her name when I got to the letter “H.” I decided to do a Google name search to see if I could find her on a social media platform. That search led me to this page and I saw her picture. 😭

My heart aches to know that she is gone. What a beautiful soul! To her mother, sister, sons and everyone who knew and loved her, I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers. I know it’s 5 years later, but to me…it just happened. Please tell Michael that his former PCS Spanish teacher is thinking of him and praying for him. May the Lord continue to keep your family in His perfect peace surround you with His unfailing love.
