Carmileta Brown
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our mother, Carmileta Brown ( Moore). She died on July 14, 2024, after fighting Alzheimer’s disease for over 10 years. Carmileta would have been 90 on her birthday in October.
Our mother was a beacon of strength, love, and unwavering dedication. She was a tireless worker and devoted her life to the support of her three daughters. Her perseverance and hard work are evident in every aspect of her life, from her forty-three years of employment at Southwestern Bell/AT&;T to her home life. With strength and a fierce spirit, she instilled in her daughters the values of resilience and integrity. Her legacy is one of love, sacrifice, and strength.
Carmileta will be greatly missed by her family; Diane (Bob) Ritchie, Deborah (Stuart) Potts, Cindy (Mark) Forhan, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren
(fourth on the way), and her friends.
Rest in peace Carmileta, your memory, love, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
In keeping with the wishes of our mother, there will not be a funeral
service.
