Carol Ann Broad (nee Lawson), dearly beloved wife of Howard Jeffrey Broad, passed away on November 26, 2020. Carol was born on November 30, 1951 in St. Louis. She graduated from St. Louis University with a Masters in Nursing. She worked for many years as an RN at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Jewish Center for the Aged. Carol and Jeff were married for 38 years after a wedding reception on the evening of the greatest snowstorm in St. Louis history.

Carol loved pets, especially cats. Long car rides and walking in the malls were some of her favorite pastimes. She was an excellent cook, with meatballs and spaghetti as a specialty. When her eyesight became impaired, she spent many hours in her favorite recliner listening to books on tapes for the blind and the daily news. As long as Jeff was by her side, she was content.
