Caroline Merryman of Town and Country, Missouri (formerly of Cook Station, MO and Lawrence, KS) peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 94.

During her last years, she was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in St. Louis County, Missouri. Caroline was born April 16, 1924 in Asheville, NC to Lindsay S. B. and Mary W. Hadley. In 1946 she married Richard Schumacher and they had three children. Later she married Jess Merryman.

She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Karen Schumacher, Joanne Maxwell and her husband Bennie and Beth Belcher and her husband Clay; step-daughter Linda Merryman, five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers Huff, Carmer and John, step-son Ray Merryman and step-grandson Neil Maxwell.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 23rd at the Salem United Methodist Church, 1200 South Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, Missouri 63131.
