Christine Conzetta Strong Casey

December 25, 1937 – January 9, 2021

Christine Strong Casey (affectionately known as Chris) was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the fifth of eight children born to the union of Otis and Edna Strong. Chris’ parents and siblings preceded her in death.

Chris was a Christian baptized in the Catholic faith. She was educated in the St. Louis Public School system and was a proud graduate of Vashon High School.

Chris worked in the hospital sector as an Histotechnologist Supervisor before retiring. Even though she quit working for the hospitals, she never stopped working for the Lord. Chris was on several committees while volunteering for the church and her community.

Later in life, Chris married the love of her life, Harry Charles Casey Jr. and added three more children for a grand total of five. Harry and two of their children (Harry III and Glenn) preceded her in death. Chris leaves to celebrate her life, three children: Kelvin Casey, Ingrid Clark-Jackson (Stanley), H. Eric Clark (Anjanette); two daughter-in-laws: Deborah, LaDonna; thirteen grandchildren: Brandon A., Brandon H., Brennan, Cameron, Carol Nicole, Chaille, Christina, Christian, Erin, Glenn, K. Bernard, Megan, and Michael; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

A memorial mass will be held at a later date.

Chrissy left a strong legacy of family and friends (many, many loved ones) and abundant memories for each person individually to share with her (for me, Our Lord,, greens & sauerkraut). She will be alive in us for as long as we are alive. My Erin, you were the light of her life along with her Cameron.
