I was Chris’ supervisor when he worked at Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. He was excellent at developing relationships with kids. Chris was not just my employee, but a good friend as well. I always loved his laugh! My prayers are with you as you deal with this great loss.

I would like to give Chris’ family my deepest condolences on their loss. Chris was my sons host parent for 7 years, he had experience working with children with disabilities and handled him in a way i simply could not. He loved him like he was his own child and for that I will be forever grateful to him. Rest in peace Chris, you changed lives in ways that will live on forever.

Chris was a delight to be with at our favorite lunch hot spots or grocery shopping or just hanging out. Chris made me a better man and I am grateful to have known such a good person. Peace, Mike V.

Chris was a regular at Tony Romas, and had been since we opened our doors in 2003. On behalf of our entire staff, we send our love and condolences. Chris brought laughter and love with his jokes and silly stories. He and Taylor became like family to us as we came to know them throughout the years. The two of them usually came in for lunch while at the mall to see a movie or do some shopping. He was adored by our staff, and will be missed greatly.

Chris was my roommate in college and it was an immediate connection from day one. He helped me acclamate to college life and did it with such hilarity, sincerity and took me in like a little brother since he was 5 years older.
I will miss him dearly. He was a wonderful storyteller and I must of cracked a few ribs in sheer laughter some days. He loved his Savior and I know now all his wonders about God are now answered. He will be remembered in our family! My condolences to the entire family!

From all the messages above Chris made a life for himself that was not wasted or squandered. Good for him and the people he helped and met in his daily life.
We knew Chris as a youngster growing up in Connecticut. He was just as charming then as he obviously was in his adulthood. He became the person he was raised to be.
Condolences to his brothers Jay and Ken and his parents, John and Marilyn.

I worked with Chris and was a close personal friend of his for the last fifteen plus years at Sunnyhill, Inc. Chris had great passion for what he did and provided a very high level of care to the children he provided services for. Chris was also a good mentor for me in so many ways, and taught me just as much about our careers along with life in general. The lives he touched including my own, have been enhanced forever by his special demeanor and acts of kindness. I remember so many special memories together including sharing a flight to Florida for a vacation for me, and a chance for him to visit his father John for a week. Chris, you will be greatly missed by us all. I for one, will never forget you, and what you meant to all of us here in St. Louis. May you enjoy your new life with our Lord and Savior in paradise. May God bless your family always !! Your friend Jim V
