Cindy Hausmann

Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Hausmann, née Struckhoff, aged 65, passed away on September 1, 2024, in St. Louis, MO, the city where she was born and spent her cherished life. Cindy was the loving heart of her family and a dedicated friend, known for her sweet and fun-loving nature. She had a profound love for her family and her animals, which brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, John Walter, daughters, Amelia “Ame” (Wes) Mathany and Tamara “Tara” Hausmann; brothers, Dan (Rose) Struckhoff and Ronald Struckhoff; sister, Karen Cantillon, and her grandchildren Weston (Charlene) Bonney, Abigail Mathany, Grant Mathany, Kenneth “Trey” Hausmann, Taylor Etheridge, Conner Etheridge. Cindy was like a grandma to Jacob, Tristin, Casper and Makayla.

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Hebron, and father, Donald Struckhoff.

Cindy was a proud alumna of Immaculate Heart of Mary and Notre Dame Catholic High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community. Her educational experiences played a significant role in shaping the compassionate and spirited person she was.

A Funeral Mass will be held on September 21, 2024 at 9:00 am at St. Stephen Protomartyr, located at 3949 Wilmington, St. Louis, MO 63116 and the interment will be at Sunset Cemetery.

The family appreciates the support and care provided by the community during this time.

    I am praying for your comfort. I remember Cindy was always one of the sweetest and most friendly at the Struckhoff family reunions. She always had a smile on her face. She will be missed.

    We share so many memories together.
    We were so excited to see her at our IHM reunion last year.
    She was so Happy in her life.
