Connie Dee Frye (née Owens) went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Saturday June 28, 2014, in the presence of her two daughters, Kristen and Julie Huigens. She is survived by her two daughters and beloved grandchildren, Kyle and Marguerite “Maggie” Huigens, as well as her five siblings–Timothy Bowers; Terri Bremkin and her husband, Phillip; Melvin “Dusty” Bowers Jr. and his wife, Rhonda; Lori Meide and her husband, Gary “Mo”; and Joe Owens and his wife, Gay Lynne; nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Darol Dean Owens, and her mother, Marguerite Joan Bowers.

Born May 28, 1952, in Lincoln, NE, Connie was a friend to all. Her selfless love for others was a trait treasured by many.

A memorial service will be held Sunday July 6, 2014 at The Cross-A United Pentecostal Church, 421 John Deere Drive, Moscow Mills, MO, at 3 pm. The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
