Constance Becker
Constance Lynn Becker (nee Warner), was born on March 8, 1954 to Harold Dean Warner, and Alice Myrtle Warner (nee Hill), in Nevada, MO. She graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1972.
Connie is survived by her Husband of 22 years, John C. Becker, her two children, Dale L. Williams (Tami) of St. Louis, MO, and Kelly M. Mullen, of St. Peters, MO. She had 2 grandchildren, Kobi A.J. Williams of Thames, New Zealand, and Michael K. Mullen of St. Peters, MO. Also survived by her 2 sisters, Pamela D. Parsons (Kenny) of St. James, MO, and Laura P. Booher of Oak Grove, MO.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents Harold D. Warner Sr., Alice M. Fields, as well as her brothers: Randy D. Warner (Karmen), and Harold D. Warner Jr.
Connie loved to sing, and play guitar, and would serenade you at a moment’s notice. She was a lover of animals, especially horses. She was an amazing baker, and cook, having never had a hungry person leave her home. She was a great friend to many, and if you were lucky enough to be loved by her, she made sure you knew. She will most be remembered by her voice, her sense of humor, her candor, compassion and her ability to put everyone around her at ease with just a smile.
Connie lost her battle with cancer in the early morning hours of Wednesday March 21, 2018. She began her journey home from the comfort of her bed, and in peace. She was cared for in her final days by Beverly Becker, and Jolene and Barney Wilcox, and for their compassion, and love, we are forever grateful.
There will be a graveside service on April 28, 2018 at 11am at Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old State Rd M, Barnhart, MO 63012, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 12:00, at Meramec Elks Lodge, 1515 Miller Rd. Imperial, MO 6305

Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
budded and blossomed in God’s free light,
Watered and fed by morning dew,
shedding its sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall,
through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength,
with never a thought of fear or pride.
It followed the light through the crevice’s length,
and unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew,the broadening view
were found the same as thy were before:
And it lost itself in beauties new,
breathing its fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve,
and make our courage faint or fail?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive:
the rose still grows beyond the wall.
Scattering fragrance far and wide,
just as it did in days of yore
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will for evermore.
Our deepest sympathy from our family to yours.
To my Loving wife and best friend. I am so grateful for the years we had together. The best years of my life. My only wish was that we had met sooner, and you had not left so soon. Life will be very hard with out you. I can`t wait to join you and be with you forever. Your Loving Husband. John

My sweet little Connie. I met you when I was blessed to join the Warner Family in 1969. Riding in the back of the pick up with your Mom and all you kids. Great times at your home. you lived with us when Baby Dale was small and I loved you and your sparkle. Enter a room and you brought Sunshine with you. I loved you then, I love you still , I always have and I always will. Love Aunt Patty.
