Cornelia Bauer
Cornelia (Neil) Denny Bauer, 79, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri. Neil leaves behind four beloved children, Kevin (and Jennifer) Bauer, Dana Bauer, Marian (and Jim) Bantel and Joe Bauer; a sister, Katherine Bensusen; two grandsons, Jake and Marcus Bantel and two nephews, Sam and Charlie Bensusen.
Neil lived in Taos, New Mexico for the last 9 years and recently relocated back to St. Louis to be close to her family.
In Taos, Neil was very active in her life long passion, playing bridge. She had many valuable friendships in Taos. Neil loved being surrounded by the mountains of Taos and spent many hours hiking, fishing and exploring the history of her adopted home. Neil was also an avid reader, political debater and lover of the arts.
Neil lived life with gusto and passion and appreciated the sunrise and sunset everyday.
Neil will be missed by her family and many friends.
