Cynthia “Cindy” Lea Rusk passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 61.

Cindy was born to James Jr. and Wanda (nee Prough) Rusk on 6/22/1959. She was predeceased by her father James Jr. and brother Jimmy. Cindy is survived by her Mother Wanda, Aunt Sue Cooke, Uncle Tom Prough, and cousins.

Cindy served her community for many years as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher beginning at Christian Hospital EMS and ending her career with North Central Fire Alarm. Cindy was a mentor throughout her years of dispatching selflessly pushing and aiding many friends, acquaintances, and co-workers achieve their own goals. Cindy continued giving as she helped take care of family members in need. She shared a passion of reading with her mother Wanda. She enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. Cindy adored and cherished her nieces and nephews, as she called them, of her cousin and best friends.

Cindy will be missed dearly by her mother, family, and friends. There is a future plan for a private celebration of life with details forthcoming.
