Celebration of life party- date to be determined.
My heart was broken, early Monday morning, June 1, 2020 when I found out that our Diana had passed away the day before. Throughout the years, we knew each other at United Van Lines. Later, we were able to work together, making a difference, in the Customer Service Department for both United Van Lines and Mayflower. As Diana’s husband (Ron) was also in the moving industry, her hands-on-experience was so welcomed and appreciated. Diana was such a contributing employee, supervisor and friend. She was a member of Creative Memories Scrapbooking team, proudly making albums of her family and pets. We swam in her pool, watched her “patio plants” … awesome … grow … just like her love for life. The bird-feeders were always filled and she loved the wildlife in her yard. The parties she and Ron had were appreciated by neighbors and friends. Diana LOVED her new kitchen and pool when they made the addition. Once, we were offered STL Cardinals tickets …. yep, we both requested a 1/2 day of vacation, and Diana, Carly Kay, and I headed out to the game … in a fabulous indoor/outdoor suite. What fun with each other, family, and other staff we had. Memories 4 ever, RIP, my friend.
So very sorry about Diana’s passing. I have very fond memories of Diana from childhood and am so happy we were all able to reconnect so many years later. Diana was always kind and happy and fun to be around. Diana was also a good and loyal friend to my mother, Barbara Hoffmann, who will miss their chats (in person and on the phone).
