Donald Menges
Menges, Donald E. 76, passed away surrounded by his family at home on September 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Menges (née Veach), sister Jane, and parents Eugene and Marguerite Menges.
He was the loving father of Amy (Colin) Murphy, Dan (Christi) Menges. Proud grandfather of Brendan and Kate Murphy, Grant and Will Menges. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Canaday and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held to celebrate the life of Donald at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4556 Telegraph Road on September 29, 2023. 9:30 AM visitation followed by a 10:00 AM memorial mass.
It was a privilege to know Don Menges. He was truly a gentleman of the old school: courtly, thoughtful and courteous. He will truly be missed.
Such a kind man!! He will be remembered by so many! Our thoughts and prayers for all of you..
We were so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He and my Brother were best of friends. We are sorry for your loss and will keep all in our thoughts and prayers.
We played many courses together & enjoyed every minute of it. If the time would come we meat again would Love “Golfing On The Greens Of Heaven” with you. Can I drive the cart?? God Bless.
Don was the sweetest guy. Always a smile on his face. Loved all his kids he talked about all the time. Glad he is not in any pain anymore. D & T.
