Donna Lee Gualdoni (Born 9/9/38)
It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Lee Gualdoni announces her passing on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the age of 79. Wife, mother, elementary school teacher and avid volunteer, Donna was a selfless and giving person. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Chuck and Patrick, her brother Bill, extended family and friends.
A memorial Mass will be held this Wednesday, 7 February, 10 am at St. George Catholic Church, 4980 Heege Road, in Afton. Visitation will be held afterwards in the church hall.
I am really happy to have known her and am sorry that she is gone. My love to Chuck and Patrick.

Mrs Gualdoni was a teacher of mine and I have fond memories of her. I don’t remember the year, perhaps it was 4th or 5th grade but a ball mysteriously rolled into our classrom and as the one sitting in the first seat of the first row, she jumped at the chance to humorously question me as to how it happened. When I told her I didn’t know, she told me to go study Newton’s laws of motion. For years, every time she saw me for the rest of my time at St George, she would question whether I ever studied his laws on motion. Oddly enough, last Friday my son gave a presentation to his fifth grade class on, who else but Isaac Newton. Rest in Peace my friend!!
