I just learned of Dr. Hudgins’ passing in the Lifelong Learning brochure that arrived in today’s mail. He was my supervisor for student teaching, back when Washington Un iversity still had an undergraduate program. I also studied with him as the teacher in one course. I remember a big smile as he took attendance and realized my name had changed, as names did then with marriage. He and others in the department prepared me for a satisfying career. My deep sympathy – Sheila Cohen
