Edward Lewis Allen affectionately called “Eddie Boy” to those who loved him. He was born April 3, 1946 to the union of Jessie Mae Hodges and Eli Griffin in St. Louis Missouri. He was the eldest child of six children.

Eddie Boy was preceded in death by his (Father) Eli Griffin (Sisters) Mitzi Jane Hodges, Carolyn Griffin, Linda Griffin (Brother) Todd Griffin (Grandmother) Daisy Allen (Grandfather) Ollie Allen

Eddie Boy was educated in the St. Louis Public Schools. Some of his hobbies were dancing, skating, and singing. He enjoyed engaging with his family and friends at the Carr Square reunion.

Eddie Boy was a remarkable and loveable person with an enormous heart. He loved his family and friends very much. He was a sharp dresser and he loved to sport his leather suits. His favorite stories was about when he lived in New York.

Eddie Boy transitioned on October 10, 2016 and he is now resting in peace with no more pain.

Eddie Boy leaves his memory to his loving (mom) Jessie Mae Hodges, His one and only (son) Terrence Boyd; Nine sisters, Bonnie Smith (Charles) Terry Ann Hodges, Nicole Hodges his baby sister whom he loved so dearly, Nancy Griffin, Ana Griffin, LaDonna Griffin-Spears, Karen Griffin-Poke, Pattie Griffin-Franklin, and Tina Griffin, Eight brothers; Emil Allen (Patricia) Larry Griffin, Richard Griffin, Dino Griffin, Demetrius Griffin, Adrian Griffin, Tony Griffin and Wendell King. (Grandchildren) DeMarco, Delisha, Carmesha, Kayla, Tiera, Tamyra, Belisha, Cedric and Terion (Great Grandchildren) Lola, Amir, Dakota and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins and friends.
