Edwin R. Oesch, better known as Randy, passed suddenly on October 17, 2019.

Randy was survived by his three children, Matthew Oesch, Shannon Oesch and Lindsay Lopez; his brother, Rett Oesch; his sister, Pam Huber; and his granddaughter, Emilia.

Randy was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 11, 1952. He had a bachelors degree from Michigan State University. Everyone who knew him, knew that he was a diehard fan. He liked to fly his MSU car flags out the window while playing the fight song on full blast.

He was also very good at sports of all kinds. In college he played softball. He loved to play golf all over the country, but the course he talked about the most was Pebble Beach in Monterey, California.

Randy was also known for his love of maps and travel. He studied towns and roads, and had an excellent memory for finding small, obscure places all over the US.

Randy was very generous and kind. He used to cross five states to pick up his kids and drop them off every summer. He liked to help his family, friends and strangers, whenever possible. He never complained or felt sorry for himself. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
